Aniversario Model As of August 2004 Darren Hippner will enter into his 10th year of luthierie. To mark this event Darren will be incorporating the work of a variety of makers combined with his own sense of "artsyness" as he is not looking to necessarily make clones. The Aniversario model will include all of Hippner's available upgrade options such as doubled sides, elevated fretboard, acoustic ports, 12 hole bridge design, tuners by Sloane/Gotoh/Gilbert, and a French Polish finish. The main attraction of these guitars is the premium woods being used from Darren's aged stock , mostly unique looking Brazilian as old as the 30's and German tops from mid 60's. The price of $3500 includes a custom fitted, Delux (the higher model) Calton case. |
